Head Start

 

We are constantly looking to enroll preschool children full-day and part-day Head Start program. Children must be 3 years old by August 31, 2010. Our full-day classrooms are located at the International District and Beacon Hill site.
Some classroom details include:
• Value of child’s first language
• Use Creative Curriculum
• Class size is 3 teachers to 19 children
• Meal provided
Also it is important to note that we have Family Support Staff in multiple languages to assist you (e.g., Spanish, Laotian, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese).
Denise Louie Education Center is also a Step Ahead program. This means we accept families that have a City of Seattle and DSHS vouchers. We accept 3- and 4-year olds, but are looking especially for 4-year olds.
Limited Private Pay slots (those that do not meet the Federal Poverty Guidelines) are also available.
